Stam Maria Greek Street Food York

this place took me because of the name and that it had room. it's a quirky little place. also they had a sniffing pooch at the lower end of the stairs, always a bonus. I had a gin and tonic and a jacket kartoffel with thunfish all delicious! my partner had chicken and bacon loaded pommes and chocolate milkshake also delicious! the personal was clearly very busy and it was a rather warm day, so extra stress! but they were all happy and kind. the bill came to about £24, quite reasonable and we need to read many great quotes on the walls!

wonderful little caffe. the staff are friendly and make them welcome. we sat in the music room, which in the first floor the spiral staircase is high. the filmraum is located in the second floor, along with the toilets. the food was very happy. a great place if they are looking somewhere to come to lunch. there was also a sweet little dog.

Hidden gem! Quirky, music themed, 3 storey, little cafe hidden behind an unassuming facade. Good variety menu. We had club sandwiches and they were delicious. When we visited, there was a young workforce in place who were friendly, fast and efficient. Will definitely go back on my next visit to York. Highly recommend.

I found this wonderful place yesterday on my trip in york. wow, I decided to eat outside as it is so glorious weather. it was a delightful lunch, the service was first class. I was served as if I felt so special. highly recommended.

very quirky. fabric on the sitting, black and purple walls. very small and lots of stairs. but we really liked it. could also be different.
