As a true Peruvian, I often find myself disappointed when it comes to "authentic Peruvian" cuisine in New Jersey. While there are numerous Peruvian restaurants in the area, only a few stand out. Stancia, however, is a notable exception that didn't let me down! The food is made with fresh, high-quality ingredients and the preparation shows no signs of shortcuts. While the dishes are delicious and fresh, I found the prices to be on the higher side, with the combo marino priced at $50 and the tallarín de lomo at $39. This may be a reflection of pandemic-related supply chain challenges. Despite my excellent overall experience, I believe there are areas for improvement. For instance, the menus co...

The sea bass ceviche was flawless and absolutely delicious! The ribeye was perfectly seasoned, and the tallarín verde was incredibly smooth and light—I couldn’t get enough of it! The Peruvian drink Chicha was wonderful too—we ended up ordering two large pitchers between just three of us because it was so good! This place is amazing! The service was top-notch, and the restaurant was impeccably clean. The food is exceptional, and you can truly feel the chef’s dedication and passion in every dish. I’ll definitely be coming back and recommending it to everyone I know. They even played a lively birthday song for someone celebrating, which I really enjoyed—I’m already planning to bring my loved on...

I would rate it around 3.5 stars, but Google doesn’t allow half stars. The four of us ordered fried yuca as an appetizer, along with salchipollo, arroz con mariscos, tallarín saltado, and caldo de gallina. The arroz con mariscos was good, but the tallarín saltado was too salty, and I wasn’t a fan of the caldo de gallina. We spent nearly $130 including tip, which felt a bit pricey considering we only ordered two main entrees—the other two dishes were a kids' meal and soup. I probably wouldn’t return, as there are better local options available.

I really enjoyed the service; the waitress was very friendly, and the food was delicious. I loved the ceviche and the noodles with huancaina sauce. The anticuchos and causa were incredible, and the dessert was absolutely delicious! I’ll definitely be coming back soon to try more dishes. Reserva una mesa ahora
