The staff are friendly, and the service is always excellent. With its calm atmosphere, it’s an ideal spot to focus on work. Overall, this Starbucks provides a nicer neighborhood, cleaner restrooms, and a much better experience.

When you place your order through the app, your coffee is conveniently ready for you on the counter, accompanied by a helpful receipt to prevent any mix-ups. They have a broad range of Starbucks products available for home use, showcasing different themes each week. However, I feel a bit restricted by the lack of outdoor seating, particularly since San Mateo has so many lovely days that are ideal for enjoying coffee outdoors. Furthermore, parking is limited, and there's no drive-thru option.

I had a really disappointing experience with the coffee at this establishment. I ordered a decaf cappuccino, but it tasted mostly like milk with just a faint hint of coffee. I could only manage a few sips before I decided to dispose of it. To add insult to injury, I was charged for two coffees when I only ordered one, which meant I had to go back to get a refund for the extra charge. I never expected such low-quality coffee from a well-known chain. I live nearby, but I won't be coming back.

The menu offers great options, making this spot a true hidden gem. I’m so glad I discovered it, especially when I was feeling a bit lost and had trouble connecting to Wi-Fi for Uber!

The location is excellent, but unfortunately, the district manager, Zoya, is currently implementing a policy that bans community-oriented notices and flyers.
