This restaurant has a vibrant atmosphere, and although the staff is friendly, they often seem rushed. There's clearly room for improvement in their service process. Even with at least six employees on hand, it took 25 minutes for my mobile order to be ready, which made it stressful to grab a dark roast coffee and two sandwiches before heading to work. I decided to give this place another try and ordered in advance, but unfortunately, I still had to wait twenty minutes. The cashier was pleasant while taking my order, but the barista who prepared my mocha cookie crumble frappe didn't seem to take much care in the process. He roughly threw everything into the blender without properly mixing it, which led to a lack of cookie crumble and whipped cream. The coffee-to-mocha ratio was also unbalanced. In comparison, the Starbucks on 96th Street and Madison Avenue does an excellent job, while the New Hyde Park location really needs to step up its service. I left feeling like I wasted $7 on a drink I had been excited about.
Cashier was ok at receiving the order. The Barista guy who made my mocha cookie crumble frappe didn?t care to mix the drink in steps and just threw everything into the blender with barely any cookie crumble or whipped cream and the balance of coffee andmocha was off, the Starbucks on 96st and Madison Ave rocks, New Hyde park step your service up. I felt like I just wasted $7bucks now and I was craving this drink.

I was quite disappointed with my recent visit to this restaurant, especially given how positive my previous experiences had been. They had suspended mobile ordering for two consecutive days, and to make matters worse, my order was incorrect. The staff appeared more interested in chatting with each other than in serving customers and preparing drinks. Overall, I left feeling really let down by this experience.
The coffee at Starbucks is outstanding, and the baristas are always friendly and accommodating. The main downside is its location—it's the last open store in an otherwise mostly empty strip mall, making parking difficult. This is likely because it sits at the intersection of two busy roads.

The service was quick and efficient. My drink was consistently ready for pick-up right on time. The location is great, though I'm worried they might close since they're the only store open in that plaza.
