We took some guests out for dinner last Friday, and it was a complete disappointment, from the service to the food. The restaurant was very busy, with just one young man serving as both bartender and waiter. We waited over an hour before anyone took our order. After another long wait, the server returned to inform us that they were out of two of the entrees we had ordered! When our meals finally arrived, the portions were quite small, and there were no vegetables included (only a salad available for an extra charge). During our meal, at least two other couples were turned away. We dine out frequently, but unfortunately, we won't be returning to this restaurant.
The one star is for service. Can't rate food as we never ate any. Walked in and there were two other couples at tables. I think one of them had their food. 1/2 hour later we got our wine and water and our order was taken. After a while the second couples food was delivered and they ate. The gentleman paid the bill and when he got the receipt, he realized they had been over billed or billed for something they didn't get. So another person was called to try to settle the dispute. After one hour of our time the food was delivered and the waitress promptly spilled a whole glass of water into my wife's purse. At this point we walked out never to return.
I had dinner on a Wednesday night at 6:30 PM, and I found that the restaurant was quite slow, likely because they haven't received enough publicity to inform people that they are now open. However, the food was absolutely delicious, and the service was very prompt. We also discovered that there’s a full bar at the back, which we hadn't noticed until we were leaving. The menu features excellent seafood options with an Asian twist, along with some unique and tasty sides that you won't encounter elsewhere. This place is a great addition to the local dining scene. I will definitely be returning!
We dined here tonight with a group of six, and it was a fantastic experience. The ambiance was beautiful, and the food was exceptional. The grilled scallops, blackened salmon, and sesame-ginger salmon were all excellent. The fried avocado wedges and cucumber salad with rice noodles and a unique soy dressing were delightful as well. The service was top-notch, and the prices were very reasonable considering the quality of the food. We can’t wait to return and try more of their entrees. We've dined at Sunfish twice since its recent opening. Although the menu was limited (4 or 5 entrees available) we and our guests have found the food to be excellent, with gracious portions of the entree. The service is somewhat slow but if you're not rushed, it is worth th he wait.
I dined there for the first time last night and had a wonderful experience. The atmosphere was very nice and quiet, making it a bit unsuitable for small children. My salmon with ginger was fantastic, and the fried avocado appetizer was delightful. We will definitely be coming back!
We had dinner here the other night... great service, excellent food, nice wines. Tuna with Chimichurri and Cod with curry sauce were delicious... all fresh made sauces. And the cucumber peanut salad was light and fresh. We highly recommend and will definitely go back.
