We usually come here at least once a month for supper. The food has always been very good to excellent but today, not so much. Probably just one of those off days as I mentioned before, we've always had a great experience. Appies were excellent (lettuce wraps and wings) but our mains arrived when we were still only half way through the first course. It was the mains that were left somewhat wanting. Dining partner had the chicken enchiladas. They were nicely presented but the salad on top of the enchiladas was swimming in dressing which then soaked into the main course. I had the shrimp and truffle rigatoni. It was good at first but the pasta rapidly took on a gooey pastiness as time went on...
Having eaten at State Main in Spruce Grove with our friends from Spruce Grove, We decided to try State Main (Southgate). Living in St. Paul we like to try different places when we come to Sherwood Park and Edmonton. Our server was Sydney and she was very efficient and knowledgeable, answering our questions. We were a little surprised, when she asked us if we had any food allergies. We had never been asked that before. Food was excellent and service was outstanding with our server being at our table as needed.
Visiting from Calgary with 2 dogs made it a challenge to find somewhere to eat. State Main was happy to have them. I ordered the Jalapeno Mac and Cheese from the happy hour menu. Fantastic! Not too spicy, just right! The pups got a kids chicken and broccoli bowl (minus the sauce) and it was gone in less than a minute! Emily, our amazing server, made sure they had water and seperate plates. It was such a lovely experience that I look forward to our next trip to Edmonton. Thanks for a great afternoon!
Tried out state and main for the first time and I was not disappointed! The food was much better than expected! We had the pretzel bites (super filling and amazing sized portion) and the tomato bacon soup which was thick and delicious. Aside from the food the reason we will be back is due to our server Victoria. It was a Friday evening around 9:30 and she was on top of absolutely everything. Extremely nice, super knowledgeable and very quick. Outstanding first experience.

We had a lovely dinner before seeing a show at the Jubilee. I had the chicken fingers and fries. The chicken fingers are not the frozen kind. They are handmade and juicey and were well seasoned and cooked perfectly. The dill dip for the fries also works great to dip pretty much anything into it. They need to sell it by the bottle. I also had the bacon tomato soup. Definitely comfort food. The service was efficient, and the food came out in a timely fashion.
We sat outside on the patio. Comforatable sitting, the server was good but took her time to get to us. considering the restaurant was not busy, the restaurant was not busy, we ordered appetizers which were fine. a littl over priced for what you got.
Our server was amazing. She did above and beyond. She always had a smile every time she walked by or came to our table. I would definitely come back and recommend this place. Thank you and keep up the great work!
Food and service were great. I don't think the air conditioning was working when we went so it was uncomfortably warm. I have butter chicken which I liked and had enough to take some home.

Just missed happy hour by 10 minutes. Should be until 6 pm.Server took orders but never brought food or drinks. Someone else brought them to table.
One of the best salads I’ve ever had—the West Coast Chop Salad. The fries dill dip are to die for. Delicious food great service.
