My initial concern was that we couldn't secure a reservation for 4 people before 8 pm. However, upon arriving early, we found that the restaurant only had a few tables occupied. We were promptly seated at 7:15 pm by a server who seemed unfamiliar with the menu and struggled to answer our questions. The food arrived in a timely manner, but my sirloin steak, ordered well done, was closer to medium despite being covered in black spices. Other members of our group also had negative comments about their food. It was our first visit to this establishment celebrating a 75th birthday. We were initially seated in the bar section, but as there was a loud and boisterous golf tournament going on, our server graciously offered to reseat us in a quieter section. Our server Molly was fantastic (friendly and witty, made good recommendations) the drinks were good (old fashioned, prickly pear margarita, spicy sparkly paloma and pineapple chamomile paloma) and the food was tasty with good sized portions (the main burger, chicken club, crispy chicken burger and tuna poke bowl). Nobody had any complaints about their drinks or food, and it was unanimous that we’ll be back.
This was my first time dining at State Main, while my guest has been here before. The atmosphere was pleasant, the menu had a variety of delicious options, and the prices were reasonable. The service was outstanding, with a friendly and knowledgeable server. I would definitely come back again, not only for the great experience but also to try out some other dishes!
We had an exceptional dinning experience at State and Main Mahogany. Fabulous service and food! The hostess seated us promptly, she was welcoming and asked about our seating preference The server was attentive and very pleasant! We all enjoyed our entrees and the brownies were delicious!!!

Food was good, service wasn’t great. Waited 10 min before waitress took our drink and food order. She never checked on us once throughout the meal which I found surprising as we’ve had good service at this restaurant before and have been several times.
We had our Golden Retriever on the patio as we had a drink and appetizer. Our host/waitress was phenomenal, was hands down the best service we had there. My apologizes as I don’t remember her name.
I had quite a good experience here, food came out fast, I wish our server would have been a bit more chatty. Overall tasty food at pretty reasonable pricing.
Ideal time to visit is 5:30 pm, as it is pleasantly quiet and allows for easy conversations.
