State Theatre - Reserva de mesa

Before covid, this used to be our goto place. We've been there twice since. It's changed. There are too many tables. There is no room to stand. You used to be able to go out the side to sit, smoke, take a break from music, and have a conversation, that's gone. Don't try to stand at the bar and figure out where you want to go, or if you want to do a tab, within two min. you will be asked to move. Not an exaggeration. My husband was paying when a bouncer asked us to move. We weren't in the isle. We were at the bar signing the receipt. We had just gotten there, but that made me ready to leave. Not a relaxing time out at all. It's very strange and very sad.

We enjoyed this place. This is a good place to watch a band. Drinks were expensive, but that was to be expected. I would definitely recommend this place. UPDATE: We have been back a couple times. The hummus is good. Baja tacos are really good. Drinks are small for the price. I would recommend this place.

BEWARE! My group was roofied at the State Theater last week. When the manager was notified he victim blamed and showed no concern for the safety of the establishment or its patrons. I will never return as it is not a safe venue even if you go in a group.

Just saw Meet Loaf at the State Theater.This venue rocks! Excellent staff, seating, lighting sound, not to mention this extraordinary band. Highly recommend both State Theater and Meet Loaf (they are a Meatloaf tribute band) Reserva una mesa ahora

It's a very good intimate venue for Concerts. I enjoy it very much. Turning it from a movie theater to a Concert Venue decades ago was the BEST Idea Ever a Smart Move.

Great venue for live entertainment. Good seating throughout and attentive bar staff. The food looked and smelled good, but we did not order any on our visit.

Make sure you get there early for decent seats. We had a straight shot of the band from the balcony. Great sound.
