Steel City Sports Bar

We met some local friends here. The space was big and the live band was great but there were table and chairs all over the place from guests pushing tables together. It was difficult to navigate when going to the washroom or leaving. The staff seemed to have a lot of difficulty walking around as well. Instead of reorganizing, they just kept bumping things out of their path. Also, the waitress who took our drink order was quite rude. She didn't know what beers were available and was not helpful (nor seemed like she wanted to be) when deciding what to order. We received no menus so just ordered what everyone else was having. The wings were ok, and their waffle fries were average.

Today we had limited time so I knew that if we went to Steel City Sports bar the service would be fast and it was. Mind you there were not a lot of people there but we have been there when there was a lot more people and the service was just as good. The steaks were tender and very tasty. The gravy was definitely made from scratch and was delicious. The carrots were not thinly sliced like I've seen in other restaurants. The side order of onions was very tasty. It is a sport bar so the atmosphere is not what you would see in a fancy restaurant but for a quick in and out and nice meal it is definitely the place to go

Was told that this place had rocking food and I should try it. Unfortunately we did. The food was ok but that was it. They did get my steak cooked correctly, but the sides were bland. After we received our drinks, we never saw the waitress again for a refill or anything. When it came time to settle up, I had to hunt down someone to pay.....Definitely will NOT waste my hard earned dollar where I am not wanted again....

We researched this place prior to visiting Sydney whilst touring the Island as we are both rugby fans and wished to watch Canada play in the rugby world cup on the day we arrived, sadly there was very little interest in their national team in the bar, we were plonked in a corner with a wee TV to watch, to that end we ate some fairly average food then moved on

Visited on a Wednesday afternoon, was greeted by a nice waitress who recommended a different steak that wasn't on the menu. It was great. Fries were good too! Lots of televisions with different channels on different screens and nice music in the background. Some regulars were also playing their favourite songs on the jukebox. Will go again!

Remembered eating here in 1968 on our way to St. Pierre so I was surprised that I drove right to it! Helping my son move here from Halifax so was touring around. Had steak and fries. Beautiful. Great waitresses and atmosphere. Several families enjoying the...More

Very welcoming staff. We all had the T-bone steaks. Very tasty but over cooked. We ordered medium rare and it was medium well. Will go back though since the service was excellent and food was tasty. We will just order rare next time!

Order your greek dinner or cornbeef and cabbage early in the day so you will not be disappointed! They tend to sell out quick. It is sooo yummy. These specials are served every Thursday.

This bar and grill has excellent customer service from the moment you walk in. The atmosphere is family friendly in the day and turns into a bar with live music at night.

the food was awesome But there were 12 of us and the music was so loud we couldn't hear to talk to any one But really good service and food
