Steve O Reno's Cappuccino

Vacationing across eastern Canada and found ourselves in Halifax for a few days. I was looking for a place to grab a bite, hit the internet, and enjoy some great food while relaxing. The boss decided to sleep-in, so I was free to roam.The reviews on TA were once again spot-on. This place hit every item on my morning agenda. Fast wifi, double cappuccino, and a great sandwich in the bagel de-lox. The wait wasn't long at all, and I had a great seat by the street(indoors as the outside tables were full).I will return tomorrow as we leave Halifax on to the next stop on the trip. Hoping there is a 'Steve-O-Reno's-like spot there.Worth the visit!

It was on my third visit that I was able to get a table to sit and try the food.Counter staff were pleasant. Order and pay at the counter, get a "number " for your table and find a seat. Coffee is delivered as is the food. The small Americano was "small", but had a very nice flavour. The eggs and soldiers took quite a while to appear, but were worth the wait. The two soft boiled eggs were cooked perfectly, the multigrain toast buttered and warm, the tomato slices fresh. A very nice presentation in addition to the taste.Will come back to try some of their other vegetarian options.

If you're going for a coffee or smoothie, might be ok. Waiting 20 minutes for 2 soft boiled eggs and toast was a bad way to start the day. They brought us a totally different dish and the eggs came out boiled hard. Btw- no one else was in the restaurant at the time getting food so they we're not slammed...just slow with no quality.

I've been here a few times while passing through Halifax. Great downtown location, close to most major attractions so it's a good spot to start your day and then head out for some sightseeing. The food is good, coffee is good, service is (usually) good! Sometimes quite busy as it's a popular place.

Loved the breakfast sandwich. My husband I both had an english muffin the Veggie with egg, cheese andI had added the spinach and tomato. All made fresh once order, really nice. Great coffee and a nice selection of teas. try the green tea you can't go wrong here with what ever you order.

This relaxing cafe is located close to the Citadel and is an ideal stop after a few hours sightseeing. The coffee is good, we enjoyed the dark roast, full flavour without the acidity. The cookies are freshly baked, loved the museli cookie, meal in itself.

I'm so glad we discovered Steve's! Great for gluten free and vegetarian options. My boys loved the smoothies, the cap was spot on, good breakfast sandwiches!

We had two cappuccinos, a smoothie and a breakfast sandwich, and planned out some of our day. It was very good, fairly simple and a nice start to our day.

They have amazing coffees, smoothies, egg renos, lox bagels and sweets. It became our go to for coffees and light breakfasts to get the day started right

Stopped there for a coffee in the early morning on the way out of town (we were staying right behind it). Awesome coffee. The food looked good as well.
