The woman working in the morning is pleasant, but the staff in the afternoon lack professionalism. When I walked in, the music was blasting, the kids were running around and playing, and they were handling money and mopping before touching food. Despite wearing gloves, they handled my sandwich and then touched the money in the register before going back to the sandwich. It's no wonder I changed my mind about ordering the sandwich - money is dirty and unhygienic. I don't want someone's sweat from dancing on my food.
This deli/store is truly fantastic! The staff are always friendly and happy to chat. The prices are reasonable and the food is delicious. It's a great neighborhood spot supported by the community. If you haven't been yet, you're definitely missing out on some amazing food and wonderful people. Do yourself a favor and go check it out!
Apparently the staff is untrained on their point of sale system. They stole $7.66 from me. Not a lot, but when you're on SNAP, every bit helps. I will never return, and will quite vocally tell my neighbors my experience. And I live 3 blocks away.
This is a fantastic restaurant with very welcoming staff. The food is delicious and the service is fast. One of the biggest advantages for me is that the restaurant is always spotlessly clean!

Annoyed that at 7 pm on Saturday night was told that the deli section was closed and couldn't get cold cuts. Your open until 9 doesn't take 2 hours to clean slicers
great place, very clean and organized, good service and helpful staff, affordable prices, delicious sandwiches and the best coffee in the city, quite atmosphere.
