The prices at this restaurant can be steep for some items, while others are competitively priced. The selection isn't extensive, but they offer several brands, including their own house brand, which usually provides the best value without compromising on quality—most of the time, anyway. We tend to purchase their products. The butcher section offers high-quality items and will trim and cut to order, which is always a nice touch. The cheese and seafood departments feature fresh products and a good variety. The main drawback at Stew's is the difficulty of maneuvering through the cluttered aisles. However, the staff is friendly and helpful.
However, I do have a cautionary note: my friends who moved out of state bought salt pretzels, cider donuts, and bagels, and unfortunately, everything went moldy within two days. This has happened on two separate occasions, which is quite unusual.
On the positive side, the staff are incredibly friendly. I've never had a negative experience with any member of the team; they’re always helpful with any questions. And my all-time favorite treat there is their pineapple ice cream. If you're a fan of Disney’s Dole Whip, this is a fantastic option to tide you over until your next park visit!
What a wonderful day at Stews! The cookout was fantastic! Your staff is so cheerful, and the food was delicious. Plus, we got to shop for groceries while enjoying an ice cream cone (blueberry soft serve!). The cashier was thoughtful enough to take my change, which was just a few pennies short, so I wouldn’t have to break a large bill. Oh my goodness, the corn elote style is still on my mind! And those incredibly thin slices of tomato on the burgers were such a nice touch! It felt like being at a carnival. I absolutely love your staff!
This is a fantastic spot for grocery shopping. They offer an incredible variety of meats, including options that you typically won't find in a regular grocery store. While the prices are slightly higher, the quality and value are definitely worth it.

I ordered food from the catering department today at the Farmingdale location, and I had a wonderful experience. Nicky was fantastic and extremely accommodating. I will definitely recommend this location to all my friends!
I became very ill after eating their soft serve ice cream, which was chocolate and vanilla. Just 20 minutes after finishing it, I started feeling clammy and nauseous, and I ended up vomiting when I got home.
This restaurant consistently offers an excellent variety of fresh fruits, vegetables, meats, and baked goods. The staff is always friendly and ready to assist.
