We were happy to see a 'family ' type of restaurant open in the area, hoping for the standard fare of a family type of resto, like burgers, sandwiches, breakfasts, assorted entrees, etc. We went with a party of 4 and it was really tough to find something on the menu for 'dinner '. One menu page was the front cover. The second was FULL of breakfast items, which would have been fine, except that none of those were allowed to be served after 3pm. The next page was full of sides. I’m currently at this restaurant with my friend, and from the moment we walked in, we could hear the staff swearing in the kitchen. I specifically overheard a waitress say that the eggs at table 35 were disgusting. Honestly, if she feels that way, she should just ask the customers directly! How unprofessional! Then the server came out carrying a full tray of drinks and said, “Just tell me what your drink is, because I have too many and can’t remember.” Nobody seems to be cleaning the tables, and it’s not even busy. The staff here is incredibly rude, and I can’t believe I chose this place!
This restaurant is truly a family-run establishment. We were fortunate enough to meet Grandma Donna, who introduced us to her granddaughter, a warm and attentive hostess. We also had the pleasure of chatting with her son. The experience felt wonderfully neighborly. The food was excellent, and the portion sizes were very generous. The menu offers a variety that brings back memories of the beloved family diners of the past. The place is spotless, with a modern and inviting decor. Well done, Stewart Family!
I tried the chicken linguine, and it was perfect—definitely a highlight. The pickle spear that came with it was also delicious. However, the deep-fried mushrooms were slightly overcooked, but the cheese sticks made up for it; they were excellent. And for dessert, I highly recommend the pudding bites—absolutely scrumptious!
Overall, despite the long wait, the food was fantastic, and the service was top-notch. I definitely recommend this restaurant; don’t let the crowd discourage you from trying it out!

I will never return to this restaurant. It took an hour and a half for my food to arrive. The starter was disgusting—my battered mushrooms were burnt, and I received only about five onion rings on a small plate. My husband's hot roast beef sandwich had more bread than meat, and his potatoes were clearly frozen and not cooked properly. This was the worst dining experience I’ve ever had, and I will not be back. This place should really be shut down. I would rate it a definite zero.
I ordered the chicken penne, but the waitress returned to inform me that they were out of pasta. No problem, I chose a hamburger instead (which is not homemade). My husband ordered a chili cheese dog but received chili cheese fries instead. He didn't ask for that. After half an hour, the waitress came back to let us know that they were out of hot dogs. What kind of restaurant is this? It’s disappointing, and I won’t be returning.
Terrible!!! Avoid at ALL cost! Went there and ordered a Hot beef sandwich as I started eating it, it was obvious there was NO BEEF in it! I hope they had run out of beef!! Because all I got was two pieces of HAM!!!!!! That had been boiled in packaged artificial brown gravy!!!! What kind of restaurant does that????? Disgusting!! NEVER AGAIN!! It was on Friday, January 8. 7pm
Not impressed at all. The beef was tough and tasteless and more bread than beef. Newfie dressing is out of a box called kraft . One time visit and will never go back
