I 've been here a handful of times but I just started going recently and I try to go at least once a week.It is absolutely delicious, I haven 't tried anything on the left side of the menu except the fried honey garlic wings which are amazing, I 've had a lot of the right side though, the gyro, beef and chicken shawarma, falafel, lamb shanks, and tzatziki sauce are so good as well as everything that comes with them.The only thing I won 't get again is the fried goat cheese, the pita that comes with it is delicious but the style of goat cheese is more like a dry mozzarella than the soft creamy goat cheese I prefer. As for kid-friendliness, there are plenty of options on the menu for children, and it's a clean little place where they can eat comfortably. The menu features a wide variety of choices for kids, and the staff is very polite and welcoming—there's definitely no inappropriate language here, making it a great place for families. When it comes to parking, I found it easy to pull up right at the front door. Although it gets busy and there are plenty of cars in the lot, there's still ample space for everyone. Also, the restaurant is wheelchair accessible, with ramps available at two different locations.
I heard great things about the fried chicken gizzards at this restaurant, so I decided to give it a try along with some fried chicken and an onion bloom. Unfortunately, the gizzards were fried so hard that I suspect they had been refried instead of being made fresh. I couldn't even take a bite out of them. The fried chicken tasted old, and the onion bloom was mushy. Overall, it was the worst dining experience I've ever had. To make matters worse, the owner behaved inappropriately and unprofessionally towards women.
I live out of state and visit the Slidell area a couple of times a year. A hot sausage po' boy and fries from Stop 2 Shop are an absolute must on every trip. No sandwich has a right to be that good. And the fries are simply the best I've ever had. The guy who runs the place is always fun to chat with. They just do not do the right thing no matter what it is if they're supposed to give you money back because an item is messed up or broken is not going to happen or if they accidentally make a mistake they're going to make it your mistake. I do not like this place I do not recommend them. And their food is terrible it's like they cooked it using rubber tires yikes
This little store is packed with curious objects you can purchase.It is also a butcher shop and a restaurant.Their menu is very full of everything from Poor Boys to Burgers to Middle East Cusine. My favorite is the Chicken Shawarma and the French fries.Vegetarian options: Falafel, Humus
Just stopped in because I was right there and it was lunch. I saw a sign advertising fried chicken for $1 a piece and figure, It might not be Popeye's, but for a $1, I'll try it.It wasn't even as good as gas station chicken. I would rate it lower, but this is the lowest it goes to.
