Stowe Gardens National Trust Cafe

Fair sized cafe with plenty of both indoor and outdoor seating. Light meals and coffee, but the system of ordering and collecting food then requeuing to get the coffee from another counter is bizarre- hot food is cold by the time you are done. Signs indicate the cafe is closing for refurbishment so hopefully this will be changed. Service: Dine in Meal type: Lunch

Staff were very friendly but their system for collecting hot drinks wasn't great. Our soup arrived at our table whilst my husband was still queuing to collect our teas at the hot drinks counter which we'd ordered at the same time. But other than that it was great. Stowe Garden Cafe was nice, my wife and I had a scone and coffee, but my wife asked about jam and they wanted £1 for a small plastic pot which seemed very overpriced.
