I had a friend visiting from out of town whose only request was to go the beach. It's been years since I've been to The Strand House but my previous experience had been good so I thought my friend would enjoy going for brunch, and then walking around MB afterwards. I made a reservation and when we arrived, we were greeted by their friendly staff at the entrance and promptly led upstairs. We would have had the perfect table at the end of the balcony on the upper outside patio but for the fact that another couple, who already had a table inside, got up and just sat down at it seconds before we got there. I didn't want to make a fuss and the hostess was still able to seat us next to the window...
The restaurant has nice decor and the view was amazing, but the tables were pretty close together, so conversation could be overheard. The food was delicious. The Yellowtail Crudo was the highlight! The service was great. Parking is limited. Service: Dine in Meal type: Lunch

Amazing food and drinks. One of the best spots in Manhattan Beach. Beautiful view of the ocean. Great atmosphere great staff. Recommend highly. Stop here every time. I’m in town.
Excellent menu with healthy delicious food. Had grilled octopus( was very tender) as an appetizer and seabass over black truffle risotto as main great combination of flavors.
Very good service from Rick and the scallops with Israeli couscous was delicious! Lovely views from the top floor.
I had the braised short ribs and they were delicious. the bread accomplishment was absolutely the best.
