Strandcafe Mettnau

Whether terrace or in the interior of the beach café - here is a good idea. the bottom sea directly at the landmark border, a view of the Swiss, the water birds with their this year's brut or an ingenious sunset in the west, dreamlike ambience.Also the ambiente of the local, no wonder that here are celebrated constantly high times and it is strongly recommended to reserve places especially at days that allow a sitting in the open!The dining card is in the open area. Salad, fish or steaks, here everyone finds their favourite food. this also applies to the wine map (lake-seed). fresh products from the region around the lake are of course particularly recommended and should be absolutely tried.

We went there on a summer Saturday to meet with family. The restaurant is at the very end of the city behind the swimming pool. The food includes a good choice of local dishes and obviously lots of fish. The view is excellent and since...you sit on the water there is also a good breeze. We enjoyed the visit and then went for a walk in the nearby park. I would definitely return. Note: Especially in summer, I recommend to reserve a table in advance. Many people walked in to get a table, but all were reserved. Also, there is a parking place next to the restaurant. If you get a space there, you can get it validated by the restaurant after your visit.

over 8€ for two (big) coffee is above the top, especially since it was not very nice, but the view over the lakes at sunset is peaceful, the red glamour spreads over the quiet waters. we have not tried to eat after the bad coffee experience, so this review does not say anything about their food (although the waffles looked good)

Had a salad at this restaurant on a hot afternoon day. The view was nice of the bodensee. Service was a little slow and waiter seemed a little crabby. But it was so hot and I don't blame him with the heat. I think this...is a good spot to sit for and hour or two if you have the time. Reserva una mesa ahora

that said eating and service are good averages. the best feature is the generous veranda and terrace with magnificent views of the lake. So if you stay on mettnau and don't have to go far for a coffee, drinks or a meal. they will enjoy

Nice restaurant on Lake Constance, the sausage salad was good but not a hit! Prices a little higher but okay! Mainly older guests with coffee and cake at lunchtime : Food: 3 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 5
