Strandterrassen Steinhude

This was my third attempt to give this restaurant a chance, and it's just because it enjoys such magnificent views, but this time our meal fell to an at all times low! I ordered what was described as cheese and tomato bag for 8.90 euros, which arrived as a plate with cut tomatoes and a very watery mozzarella cheese. The bread roll arrived much later and was indeed two thin rolls! This large plate of tomatoes probably two cut cost me ten cents under €9!!! My wife got a mere and badly presented dish of salad that contained Salmon for €7.90, which was much better, but not much, and left her underwhelmed. This restaurant is ideal for taking in the views with a wonderful outlook from its high terrace. It offers a superb venue to eat and has a massive retractable hood to cope with rain if it should arrive. The service was functional and a little lacking in warmth and the food was good tasty but nothing special. I choose the schnitzel which came with chips, and while the gravy with thick and loaded with mushrooms, the salad was a slice of cucumber, on a slice of tomato on a single leaf of lettuce! While I loved the view and the location, the meal was just average. I would recommend it but only as somewhere to eat and not somewhere to dine ...but it does have that view!

I attended my first German wedding and reception was held in this restaurant. While bride and groom have their photo shoots, all guests enjoy the drinks and canapes. They serve continuously and all waiters/waxes serve with a high standard of customer service. The view in the veranda of the restaurant is beautiful. perfect for summer! I love it! the beef was perfectly cooked to my taste and the rest of the food. Drinks! everything you want, alcohol and alcohol. Happy days The restaurant is perfect for any occasion you want. with great music and dance floor. Toilets are always clean. Excellent!

The food is delicious but expensive and the service is not available. The staff is rude, everything is too much trouble and they have no basic manners. The view is from this world, and the food is delicious, that is the only thing that keeps this place going. It could be so much more if it had friendly staff who would like to offer a great customer experience.

This restaurant has a lovely view of the lake which is great when the weather is cold and rainy. Food was delicious.
