I ordered a combination of vanilla frozen custard and a root beer freeze, which I typically enjoy, but the vanilla frozen custard was really disappointing. It didn’t taste like real dairy at all, and its gummy texture was quite off-putting. The root beer freeze was fine, but the vanilla custard was truly unpleasant.
This is my favorite ice cream spot on the Jersey Shore. The specialty flavors for their soft serve change regularly, and everything is delicious. I also love all the Italian ice flavors. My top choice is the vanilla soft serve swirled with root beer-flavored ice—it's just like enjoying a root beer float!
I absolutely love this restaurant! Whenever I'm in Jersey, I always make it a point to visit. My favorite one is the Long Branch location. There's a place out here on the island that everyone raves about, which starts with an 'M,' but honestly, it doesn't hold a candle to the Lighthouse.
The ice and soft serve are extremely soft. By the time you pay for it, it's already melted. Both taste kind of watered down in flavor. The good things are that they're not overly sweet and the location is close to the beach for an easy walk to get some. Reserva una mesa ahora
I'm not a huge fan of Strollo's because they don't offer hard ice cream. However, they do have a wide variety of great toppings for their soft serve. I've never tried their Italian ice, so I can't speak to that. The place is always bustling, though!
The charming exterior of the store is inviting. The ice cream is very delicious, and its location near the beach is really convenient. I have no complaints at all!
Really cute place, the prices and ice cream are good! It's also open a little later in night so it's a really nice late night spot when the weather permits!
