I think it's my duty to inform fellow Yelpers something funny might be going on with the reviews for this store, there is no way that their food is 4.5-5 stars!! I chose this place over Thomas Haas today because I wanted something new... the next thing I knew was it's the worst choice I have ever made in this year.... First of all, they didn't have the traditional red bean flavor nor any ice-cream today (yet their signs on walls shows all the ice-cream options), and we were left with only a few choices. I chose the Vanilla one, and the experience of eating their pastry was revolting! Knowing they name their items Cro-Tai due to the fact that they use the croissant puff pastry, I was expectin...

My boyfriend found this place and was excited because they had GF mini custard stuffed bear pastries lol. It's super cute. We didn't think it tasted spectacular though. It was kind of stale tasting because it wasn't made fresh. Before going we looked at their website and were under the impression that everything was gluten free because of the way they worded it. But when we got there we realized only the stuffies were GF and the taiyaki were not. He still got a box anyway and I tried a pizza taiyaki. They don't make the taiyaki fresh either which was weird. However, I asked them to make me a fresh one and they happily did. My pizza taiyaki was delicious! I could have eaten two but didn't lol...

Curiously headed into this spot by the Phib and was pleasantly surprised by the ham cheese stuffy. The locale is clean but smallish and they were playing modern pop music 'hits ' very loudly. I 'm a heavy metal fan and loudness doesn 't bother me but in a place where you want to chill and eat a quick snack it was very annoying, not to mention that modern pop music is abysmally abhorrent pedantic and moronic. I recommend you take your stuffy to go, there 's plenty of options and there 's soft serve. However, I 'd stay away from the caramel soft serve for it 's a tad too bitter.

Do not order delivery.I tried ordering on DoorDash multiple times, but the store kept declining my order. I called the store to sort the issue and they repeatedly asked me to keep ordering. When it didn’t work the third time, they stopped picking up phone calls and it seems like they may have even blocked my number. I was only trying to order a gift delivery and in no way harassing the staff. It’s very saddening because I know their treats are delicious. I’m shocked by the way I was treated as a customer. It's a fantastic dessert restaurant, and I highly recommend visiting. The pastries are not only delicious but also too cute to eat. I especially enjoy the fact that they are served hot. The wide variety of flavors they offer is impressive, making it a perfect place to spend quality time with family.

The ambience is pleasant, but parking in the area can be difficult. The desserts are delicious, though slightly expensive. The staff is very friendly, and there are a few gluten-free options available.

I ordered from Instacart and had to park far away due to a lack of delivery parking. Additionally, I did not tip the driver.
