What a lovely restaurant with great atmosphere. Beautiful linen, glassware etc. A pity it was an overcast day when we visited for lunch, because we had wanted to sit outside on the terrace under the grape vine canopy to take advantage of the wonderful views....We were not disappointed though by being seated inside, we were offered great service by our waitress, great choice from the menu, with most being explained to us. Once we had chosen, to our surprise we were served a very tasty mousse as a starter. Our meals were served on beautiful, unusual china, each course was delicious. Have you ever suffered from the situation that you wanted a steak and your loved one a vegetarian dish? This restaurant is your place to go to. Very friendly staff, nice and friendly atmosphere, nice view and a menu that give you the choice: sparkling...wine with cassis or non-alcoholic sparkling wine with cassis as a starter. Followed by great startes like the house salad. Main courses offer you the same dish as meat or vegetarian dish. Regardless of your choice the do all menus based on organic ingredients. Very tasteful food, great wine, excellent service. We will come back!
my favorite restaurant in the Swiss. beautiful friendly staff, very professional and know their products. the meals are something to dream, so beautifully presented and delicious to eat. every month the restaurant has another thema, all very elegant and beautiful. I have just. returned from a holiday in Switzerland and while I was there, this restaurant visited at least four times. next trip to Switzerland this will be on my must visit list
we came to lunch in this cozy restaurant in the hearts of widen, aargau. all service staff was very friendly and helpful, you had to understand hardships. there is a large menu for selection and you can use most meals with or without meat. and fish. the food came in large portions, all made fresh, and all tasted excellent. is this a helpful review? then please give me a thumbs up thank you frankgeisler by clicking on the button below.

The food is excellent, quite traditional Swiss but the view and the ambiance is what makes this restaurant special. The staff is super friendly and nice. There are NO MENUs in English which makes it difficult to understand what you are eating ...but that is...ok as everything is delicious on the menu!
The place is very romantic and pretty. The food (and the products they sell) is amazing: the only negative point here would be that the choice is very limited. And then the atmosphere: you'll really feel pampered by the staff and the owners!
The location is fabulous , staff very friendly, however the breakfast was lacking some inspiration. Price performance was quiet bad. For what one pays you would expect a better and bigger choice..and not the boring stuff which is so dated..
a very nice place, especially for those who are looking for vegetarian or vegan dishes. good personal service. a nice selection of gifted takehomes, among them tees, honey, jams, even pretty schirr and child books.

very nice lunch, but completely overpriced, daily lunch chf 38.00 and chf 13.30 for a liter open mineral water. very poor service, the menus are not presented, they just have to listen and no price is displayed.
I loved the meringue-made angels decorating the restaurant. Each one takes up to 3 hours' work in the kitchen. The food was well-presented and tasty. Perfect and romantic setting for the x-mas season.
