It's like a common Subway that you'll see anywhere else. Only differences is that it is located on Camp Pendleton and usually has Marines walking in and out of it. They tend to be short on supply sometimes as well but that's kind of expected due to Marines always buying food since they don't want to always eat the chow hall food which tastes sooooo amazing! I would give this restaurant 0 stars if I could. The vegetables looked like they had been frozen for weeks instead of being fresh. The lettuce was brown and the staff had trouble understanding me and seemed slow. This was my third time going and they were out of many options, including chips, cookies, refrigerated drinks, and fountain drinks. The glass I looked through to see the menu was dirty and the staff could only give yes or no answers. They were out of several meat options for sandwiches and the pepperoni looked questionable. This restaurant is the most disgusting place I have ever visited. The female staff are rude and very unprofessional. It took them 25 minutes to prepare my order and when she was making it, she cross-contaminated my food while wearing the same gloves. Additionally, the counters and floor were covered in crumbs and food, as if they hadn't been cleaned in days. I'm sorry, but that is really unsanitary and I will never trust anything made at this place.
This subway has improved significantly in the past few months. They now have more items in stock, such as bread and meats. The only problems I encountered today were that their soda machine was not working and they were playing Christian music on the radio. While one song is fine, it was uncomfortable to hear a dedicated Christian radio station while eating my sandwich.

I visited this restaurant on a Saturday expecting it to open at 10am, but had to wait until 10:50am for the doors to open. Unfortunately, I missed breakfast and had to wait for lunch to be served at 11:30am. There was only one staff member at the front counter, which may have been the reason for the delayed opening.
I placed an online order and then went to pick up the sandwich. When I got back to my room, I realized that the sandwich was made incorrectly. I tried calling the provided number, but it was not connected to anything. I ended up wasting money on a sandwich that I couldn't eat.
The staff was friendly and provided good service. The restaurant was clean and well-maintained. The sandwiches were delicious and prepared correctly. Overall, it was a great meal for the price.
Kudos to the attendant. He was working alone and my group of 31 showed up. He steadfastly made our meals and deserves an atta boy!!!
