Right off the bat, we were welcome by a grumpy lady and when we asked for a menu, she showed us a QR code stuck on the table as though we were two morons. So from service standpoint, we are not ahead a great start. Then we ordered crepes (by the way crepes and pancakes are two different things, just saying) and we got them straight from the fridge, cold and soggy basically. First time ever I get served leftover crepes, especially for the price you pay in a ski resort... I decided to be nice with my review of the atmosphere, but even that was far from great. Bottom line, just a rip-off...
We’ve been coming to David and Emmanuelle for years and we’ve always enjoyed coming back for the map, their welcome, the family atmosphere, the super terrace with a great view of Flaine and the musical atmosphere. I see some very severe negative comments that I find unjustified. Emmanuelle and David give themselves harm and above all, they are always open, winter when it’s shielded from the world (the rhythm is then difficult and when it’s quieter (it’s sometimes too quiet but they’re there.
A good restaurant as we like them. Heartwarming welcome. Fair price. Succulent dish and more than well served. I took a menu I would eat for a week. I don't understand the negative reviews. I recommend 100%. The bosses are super nice
