Sugar Ridge Winery

My husband and I have never been to a winery before and our life, the young lady who helped us was amazing,we tried the sampler, I'm pickups she help with mine. She picked my husband's. We met other couple there who gave us so much info on wine. Lovey ladies I tried one that said lime on it, tasted like coconut!!! OMG I could become a wineo!! Unfortunately we drove a motorcycle from Indiana and couldn't buy any wine. But I'm going to website and going to find my Lime lol every thing was delicious. Great experience. The wines were enjoyable and the service was good. Unfortunately, they decided to gouge on parking. Their website says a $10 fee is charged for parking on weekends during April. This fee at least includes valet. That being said though, we went on a Friday, had to self-park, and were still charged (non-negotiable; pay or leave). We still decided to visit, but it left a very sour taste in our mouth.Their product is good; their business practices are not.

Attention North Texas wine retailers: A sales representative from Sugar Ridge called my store while we were in the midst of a repair project (replacing a 60x100 exterior window during a heat wave) and was turned away. Later, she left a one-star review on Google. Unbelievable!

Great place. Out in the country. Beautiful grounds. Great selection of wines. They charged $10 to park because of Bluebonnet season. Also had to use the port a potty for the same reason. Staff was nice, though, and helpful. Would like to go back at another time of year. Reserva una mesa ahora

OMG me and the hubby stumbled upon the SRW back during the pandemic. And we fell in LOVE. The atmosphere is wonderful the owners are down to earth and so very friendly as well as the staff. I only drink SR wine now. ?? So glad we found y’all.

This cozy spot is located right in the heart of the Ennis Bluebonnet Trail. It's an excellent place to enjoy a glass of wine or a beer after exploring the beautiful fields. They also feature a few food trucks that add to the experience.

Imagine $10 valet parking before you even have a chance to do a $25 tasting. There’s not another vineyard anywhere that hasn’t such an obstacle to visiting.

Found this hidden gem when we went to visit blue bonnet trail. Their wine is real fine and food is real good!Worth a one hour drive from Dallas..
