Sugar Shack - Reservar una mesa

A friend and I had been looking forward to visiting this place but left feeling quite disappointed. The lad who worked there couldnt've been more disinterested and was quite abrupt. The water we got ourselves from the counter which was fine but the water was old and stale tasting, as if the water had been sitting there for a few days or just continually topped up without cleaning of the jug. I had a Hungry Vegan meal which was $29 but the quality of the burger didn't match the price I paid for it. The tomato was shriveled with a strong unpleasant taste, the red cabbage was dry and brown and the lettuce was wilty and slimey. The rest of the bun was ok but I was annoyed at paying such a price for something that lacked freshness. The onion rings were quite nice but again I question the freshness of products used.It's a shame to come away from a restaurant feeling dissatisfied so I hope they improve their customer service and quality/freshness of food

Called to go to lunch one day at 12.35 pm and Sugar Shack wasn't open. Opening hours are noon although there is nothing on the door to advise. I got this from the web. There was someone inside and we knocked gently and this person came to the door, and said that he'd be open in 15 minutes. I said that I thought noon was the opening time. I was advised in a very offensive, bad-mannered way that his sick 7-year old son was more important than opening on time. I didn't know his son was sick, and we weren't asked inside to wait, and the door was firmly closed in our faces after he repeated that he'd be open in 15 minutes. We didn't return.

I have tried to go to Sugar Shack three times now with friends. Twice the store was closed despite the hours listed that the store should have been opened .. and once I was told that there was a minimum 45 minute wait despite having only 3 tables seated and waiting for food.. very strange way to operate a business in my opinion... perhaps cut down the extensive menu if they can't cope or serve in a reasonable time..and adjust advertised opening hours to reflect accurate opening times or open when advertised to do so- .. .won't be attempting to support this company a fourth time...

Been going to this place for a long time now and have always left feeling satisfied at what I have eaten. I've never had a bad meal, drink, dessert or anything like that. The catering to the vegetarian, vegan and gluten free is also fantastic., There's something for everyone so it's well worth a visit.

Love this place! Excellent burgers and hot dogs and I love their cheese sauce machine! Great feel to it and the staff are friendly, especially the owner. Love the range of drinks they have and the desserts are very indulgent as well!
