Sullivan Old Town Bbq

I've been to Sullivan's many times now, and the food is always on point. I especially enjoy their ribs and brisket as it's so tender and flavorful every time we go. Saturday nights, they do all you can eat ribs for around $18 which is such a great deal. The added bonus is that all the staff are so friendly and fun to be around while dining in. They also catered my rehearsal dinner, and the catering experience was seamless from start to finish. All of our guests raved about the food. Highly recommend checking them out!

I had the brisket plate with Charo beans and French Fries. Meat was tender. Beans were bland and nothing special about the fries either. Two sauces to choose from on the table. Comes with onion and dill pickle. Jalapenos available on request. Total for lunch was $20+tax. I probably won't be back. Better prices and taste to be found elsewhere. Over rated in my opinion. Passing through, the best sides try the onion rings. I loved the dip. The showing off platter with no pulled pork. The potato salad and Mac/cheese . I usually hate the sides. Will return. The waitress was amazing. My son ate all the bread pudding and banana pudding. In a state full of of wanna be BBQ places, this is truly Texas and breathes authenticity and it's longevity has not led to declining standards. The brisket is moist and tender, the Turkey is rich with smoke, the charro beans are the best I've tried. Ribs have a rich rub with a nice smoke

Good bbq, good seasoning and not salty. I dont care for the bbq sauces. They are ok and do not enhance the bbq meat experience. I'll pass on the bbq sauce. Nice intimate restaurant with live music on the Friday evening when i visited.
