Went for lunch there today after reading the reviews. Nearly empty on arrival although being told that they didn't have any vacancies at the time I wanted, the service was good and it was nice and warm. The food was something else , it was awful frozen potatoes, frozen peas,Yorkshire pudding ,stuffing all for £14 for 1 course. Caught sight of the chef he looked a mess ,dirty and unkempt, who writes the positive reviews staff maybe .There is much much better out there and cheaper. I for one will not pass their threshold again. Oh and bye the way for £4.20 you can have a glass of red wine vinegar
Nice friendly place with good service looking forward to Sunday lunch here, well Sunday lunch was really good and large portions always great service tried the fillet and ribeye steak's and they were perfect some of the best steak's I have had and the chips were great as well had a curry pie yum yum
This is my favorite place of all time! The food is incredible, the service is excellent, and there is always a warm and welcoming atmosphere. The owners are absolute gems - highly recommended.

Fabulous Sunday lunch. Proper home-cooked roast. Cooked to perfection, such good value. Can’t recommend enough! Personally recommend the tomato soup starter to add.
