Sun Sushi Japanese Cuisine

I had a DoorDash gift card so I decided to get several items from Sun Sushi tonight. I got my Mom a rainbow roll which is her favorite. It was nice looking with tuna, salmon, shrimp and avocado. She enjoyed it and has a couple of pieces left for lunch tomorrow. I ordered bacon wrapped shrimp, mixed tempura, and the regular sashimi mix. The shrimp were large and plump, the crunchy bacon and firm shrimp textures went well together. The tempura was the standard mix with 2 shrimp, broccoli, green beans, and squash. It was very good. I consider myself fortunate to have had the opportunity to dine at this restaurant before it closed and changed ownership. As I was slowly trying out different food options in Northridge, my love for sushi led me to this establishment. My first experience here was with a friend from graduate school who, despite being a vegetarian, shares my passion for food. We went out to eat at this place Yesterday (Wednesday). We placed the order and waited. When the order arrived, we asked the waiter that we hold onto the menu. He took it and said No . I asked why not? He said well you two will be eating here now, will get messy and will dirty up the menu. When you 're done with your food, I will bring the menu to you . I have never felt this insulted and talked down to in a restaurant.

I love Sun Sushi! The baked salmon roll and baked crawfish roll were amazing and comforting. Service was great and there's a cute disco ball in the middle of the ceiling. The prices are reasonable and we will be coming back for a date night very soon! Reserva una mesa ahora

Yuck. If undercooked broccoli with brown edges over mushy rice, served with tough-as-leather beef is your thing then this is the place for you! If I could get my money back I'd rather flush it down the toilet and cut out the middleman.

This is one of my top choices for sushi. The fish is always fresh and the portion sizes are generous. One tip is to avoid ordering delivery as the price per roll is $2 higher than dining in.
