The Sunday Market at 106 Bridge is run by chef Michael Hoy, at his catering business located at 106 Bridge St. The Sunday brunch was very well attended, with the restaurant filled to capacity most of the morning. The food - primarily taken from locally sourced ingredients including fresh fruits, vegetables, spices, eggs, and meats - was absolutely astonishing. Fresh, hot, and delicious, I often say that breakfast is "hard to mess up" but I now realize that breakfast can also be elevated to an art form. Our family, from Toronto and Ottawa, wanted to surprise my wife for her birthday, on Feb 28th, by coming to celebrate at a nice Sunday brunch. She had no idea they were coming, and it was touch and go because of the horrible weather in Ottawa that day. But when I walked in the door of the restaurant with my wife, the entire restaurant erupted into "Happy Birthday", and there were the daughter, her husband, and our four granddaughters waiting for her. Our son and his family came in a few minutes later. She was stunned, and very happily so.The food was fabulous, the service very attentive, and the prices were very reasonable. There isn't much except for a couple of stalls. Was quite disappointed. Heard the Wellington market was amazing but we had missed it. Perhaps this is too new and it will grow but definitely not with visiting.

It used to be quite interesting and unique. A few of the people that had their stands there no longer come. Nothing that you can't find at the Wellington Farmers Market on Saturdays. Actually a LOT less. Reserva una mesa ahora
