We had some curry chicken on cranberry walnut bread sandwiches that were divine. We also sampled the carrot cake and cinnamon rolls. I'd gain 10 lbs in a month if I lived nearby. The owners say that they sell out almost every day. What they don't sell out of gets donated to the needy. These are genuine people making an excellent product and committed to their community. If you observe the staff and see how happy they are then you'll understand the charm of the place. We purchased a lough of sourdough bread and made sandwiches and French toast out of it too. We would go back again and again.
I sincerely mean it when I say Sunflower is my favorite business in all of Helena. Incredibly kind owners and staff, in my opinion the best bread from any of the many wonderful Helena bakeries. Unbelievable quality and consistency!The best thing that happened to Helena in a long time! I grew up eating great bread where I grew up, in Greece. I was there for five weeks recently and could not enjoy their bread anymore. I kept missing the Sunflower bakery bread!
