Wife and I stopped, craving some fresh baked goods. Wanted a brownie cannot see in DARK display case. Reluctant saleswoman put her phone light in case. Should have guessed. Wife has egg bites, bland, tasteless and disgusting. I was hungry recent transplant from TN so I got biscuits and gravy. Yikes! The brownie was horrid, so “solid”; it was difficult to eat would bet it was some of last week’s batch stale. Biscuit?!? It looked good, odd configuration, but it was atrocious NOT a “Southern style biscuit” in the slightest. Seemed to have cornmeal in the mix?! Great to look at, barely edible. My family has been coming to this cafe for over two years now and I just love all the fresh baked goods and coffee. However, I am reviewing this time to report on the decline in food quality. As most people are aware, the breakfast and lunch sandwiches average $8-8.50 each. Recently, the thickness of the bread has become so disappointing. The fresh bread is the reason we come here for sandwiches and it is likely the least expensive part of the meal. I hope they will see this and make a change because my avocado toast this weekend left a lot to be desired per bite. I really wanted some toast with those delicious toppings
We absolutely loved this place. We stopped in to grab some bakery goodies while visiting Titusville. The baked goods were fantastic... I recommend the Coffee Cake Muffin it was delicious with a cup of coffee. In addition to the baked goods they offer breakfast and lunch sandwiches as well. They have a variety of seating (indoors) both on the first and second floor. If you can't find parking there is plenty at the Titusville Visitors Center right around the corner. We will definitely stop again when in Titusville. Oh and be sure to find the great photo op on the back side of the building.
I wish they had more savory pastry options. They were out of what I wanted, picked a scone instead. It was much sweeter than I wanted. The woman who took my order was gruff and I felt rushed to order. There was trash on the floors in the dining room so I took it to go. A for quality, B for variety, C for atmosphere. Edit: Came back and every aspect was nicer/better except for the cleanliness. If an employee could clean wipe the tables and sweep throughout the day, this place would be awesome. Love this bakery! Great food! Favs include the biscuit and gravy breakfast cup don't remember official name) and the blueberry lavender muffins. Also an orange/cream cheese Danish called a lobster tail. I also really love that there is a place for my littles to play in the downstairs area but no kids upstairs for if I go to chill alone.
Purple hair doesn't know the difference between cinnamon raisin or onion. Plan on making two trips for the order to be right. My first experience was standing in line to find out their credit machine was down. The food quality is great. Service, and communication is garbage. Over priced woke folks.
Well I love starting my day off of providing free video roof inspections for all my clientele with the coffee and muffin from here. Good selection and the turkey bacon ranch sandwich is the best around. Getting some work done upstairs is one of my favorite places to be.
