Sunrise Griddle

Wow, what a find....have been looking for a small town diner with big city flavor and ambience. Found it and all the boxes were ticked. Regular customers whom the waitresses know by name. Friendly waitresses with boundless energy and upbeat personalities. Delicious food with unique spins. Fast service in a bright, clean family- friendly environment. We were so impressed with the whole experience, we returned the next day to do it all over again. Must-haves include the two topping cheese crepe, the fruit crepe or the french toast. Even when busy, the wait is quick and the service, even quicker. A great, breakfast place is my guilty pleasure and now, I have found a home to assuage my guilt. Definitely worth the drive from Ajax.

This is my favorite breakfast place in Durham. I go every Sunday now. I've been to most of the 'breakfast restaurants' in Durham. I found my place. Best crepes ever! The staff is amazing and go that extra step that means alot. There is usually a lineup on weekends but it goes by quickly. The owner was a chef at the Keg for over 10 years so he knows his way around a kitchen. They also are very involved with community charity and events. Great family restaurant. I haven't been there for their dinner night but I've heard great things. I can't say enough good things! 100% happy!

Been visiting here for a number of years now. Feels like home. Always friendly service from the waitresses. Sam is one of our favourite waitresses she remembers every detail and is a big asset to the restaurant. Owner is very friendly too !! Great little place.

Small restaurant, wonderful wait staff, food was fast tasty and reasonably priced.we will differently go back to this restaurant

Tasty. Friendly staff. Always busy. Love to get our weekend breakfasts here. Never disappoints. Will be going be going back.
