Sunshine Lunch Bar Cafe

The banh mi thit is quite nice and would definitely have it again! It comes standard with pate. The cafe is an unconverted lunchbar - either an old kebab or fish & chip shop which hasnt been refitted. No big deal as the food is good, relatively cheap and the place looks clean, but I think the setting may lack appeal to some people who would like a more snazzy setting. Maybe sell the bain-marie/warmer and replace it with more tables and a bit of decor. It doesnt really matter to me though as I'll be back anyway!!

Get Bahn mi from this place almost every weekend. The taste is perfect without coriander, lots of patè with crunchy bread. I have also tried the meatball oxtail soup which is huge and definitely worth it! The owner is really friendly too. Price wise it's very competitive being right next to dozens of other food places on the strip. Only $7 for a big bahn mi! Definitely would recommend stopping by.

Had the pork Bahn Mi... Was ok, nothing special. I've been spoilt by other BM's where the pork was actually pork belly with crackle sprinkles, and lots of slurpy sauces, lots of lettuce, coriander and mint... Which this Bahn mi did not have. After the recent recommendation by Urban List Sunshine didn't hit the mark for me...

What this little lunch bar lacks in style more than makes up for it in flavour. If you are a Pho fiend then make a bee-line for this place - it's absolutely delicious. The base stock/broth is the hero and the condiments just top it off. Always clean and their other lunchtime fares are always made fresh. Reserva una mesa ahora

4.2 Tuesday and Thursday's they have fresh roast pork with crackling in their Bahn mi. LOVE it! Affordable and tasty. So delighted with the big bowl of Pho and bargain tubs of curry and rice (we went late, just 20 minutes till closing time).

Tried both chicken and pork banh mi. The portion was massive and so cheap for only $7 each. The flavours were good. The only negative was the bread was too tough. lyvtoeat.com

The name is appropriate.... A basic lunch bar fit-out with crazy cheerful (in a very good sunshiny sort of way) service. Although the broth was too sweet for my liking, there was a very generous amount of meat in the pho.

Pho-licious!!! Such awesome pho at very affordable prices. The staff were all lovely and so friendly! I'll certainly be back to try their other offerings, but I reckon the pho would tempt me every single time. Reserva una mesa ahora

Great service, fantastic Vietnamese food and coffee at a great price. I love the Pho and the friendliness of the owners. Nothing is too much trouble and the spring rolls are like no other.

Lovely family run, clean, authentic and delicious food. I always come here for fresh spring rolls and pho and of course the banh mi - pork. Very well priced for the area.
