We had dinner one evening at this restaurant because we live fairly close by. The picture shown in the review doesn't accurately represent the restaurant. The staff was friendly. My husband ordered liver and onions with home fries, mixed veggies (the frozen bag kind), and coleslaw, and he enjoyed it. My son had fish with fries, coleslaw, and veggies, but the fish was overcooked. My daughter and I both ordered burgers and Caesar salad on the side, as the burger doesn't come with a side. Unfortunately, the burgers were not good and tasted better if made at home. The Caesar salad, although recently washed, was too wet which made the dressing runny and not very tasty. I recently visited this restaurant, which I believe deserves more recognition. Despite passing by it many times while traveling on Highway 11, I only dined there twice in recent years. I regret not stopping by sooner, as I have missed out on delicious meals. On my first visit, I had a delightful lasagna with soup, salad, and dessert. It was the perfect portion and incredibly tasty. During my last visit, I enjoyed their fish and chips as well. The restaurant is spacious, tidy, and has friendly staff serving comforting food. What more could you ask for? we had been there several times years ago but went this fall for breakfast on a sunday. Yes they had quite a few people there but had quite a few waitress too. We waited and waited and finally were going to leave and the waitress came and gave us coffee and apologized so we stayed. She took our order and then we waited and waited and waited.The waitress apologized again and said the cook would only cook one order at a time. So an enjoyable outing turned into an endurance contest. We will never go back. the food was not bad when it finally came which is the only good thing I can say.

We have relatives near Huntsville Ontario so any time we visit with them we always stop at the Sunway for breakfast or lunch on our way South on Hwy 11. Easy off, easy on, large parking lot and they are now getting into selling Blueberries, building under construction.Meals are home cooked, lots of food and always have a lunch special and soup of the day.Waitresses are always prompt and friendly and food is arriving fresh cooked to order and hot.Restrooms are clean along with the rest of the facility. We stopped in at an off time so it was fairly quiet. Had been on the road for a bit already and were ready to stop and eat. Staff was very friendly. We were in between time so we could order off of either menu. Mu husband and I both picked breakfast and were not disappointed!We wanted a quick bite and to stretch our legs and this stop offered both. This will be one of our regular stops when we have to go down south.

This is sort of a truck stop, conveniently located along the highway. meals are big and generally very good. I've been here for breakfast a number of times and always was happy with the meal. Dinners are good as well. Hot beef and hot turkey sandwiches are great.
