Superior Restaurant truly embodies the classic small-town diner experience. With its nostalgic 50s decor, featuring plenty of Elvis memorabilia, and friendly local service, it’s a warm and inviting place. Although I'm not a regular coffee drinker, I found their coffee to be exceptionally good! I ordered the Club Sandwich, which was tasty and packed with plenty of chicken and bacon. The fries were perfectly cooked, boasting a crispy exterior and a fluffy interior. My meal was nicely complemented by a side of gravy, coleslaw, and a pickle. Most dishes are priced between $15 and $20, making it quite reasonable. I'm looking forward to returning soon to try their baby beef liver! I highly recomme...
Our first visit was a mixed experience at noon, midweek in March. Menus looked well used and a bit tattered. However the prices were reasonable. My partner's breaded chicken was overcooked and chips were bland. My beef lasagna was a big portion and tasted fine. They didn't have a club soda. I suspect the restaurant has been there for many years and is a bit run down. It really needs some TLC and is a bit dingy, hence atmosphere at one star. We had to wait quite a while for our food whereas the BLT at the next table came quite quickly. So all a bit mixed really!
My family used to visit this exceptional restaurant regularly when I was a child. I was pleasantly surprised to find that not much has changed when I walked in a couple of years ago, and that's a wonderful thing. The dining experience is rich with Elvis memorabilia throughout the restaurant, along with cozy booths and seating up front. The staff members, who have been there for years, are very friendly and welcoming. The food is delightful and reasonably priced for both adults and kids. Their pizza is fantastic, and I would recommend anything on their menu!
