The Daily Scoop Cafe

I visited Daily Scoop restaurant, what a name. They serve hot breakfast and lunch. We were there on a Sunday morning just after 9:30. I ordered vegetarian quesadilla and my friend ordered pancakes. We waited for bit, it was made from “scratch” When our meal came, I was surprised to see very fresh fruits on the plate, not the ones in can or syrup like you get at I-HOP. The meals are reasonable price and very tasty. The service is great, the servers are very friendly. The restaurant is nice inside and cosy. They were few couples in the restaurant; it was not busy at the time. We enjoyed our meal and coffee. Would highly recommend it to anyone. Also they serve ice-cream, had pastry etc.

We decided to eat out for breakfast for Canada Day. Although we had had ice cream from the Daily Scoups in the past, we had never eated there before. Our breakfasts were tasty and served with generous portions. The downfall was the length of time taken between ordering and receiving our food. We must have waited 45 minutes. Luckily being Canada, we were not in a hurry with other commitments. With speedier service our rating would change from poor to very good.

First time visit. Wry friendly and polite staff. I had the ahi fry man breakfast, and I was a “hungry man”!!!! It filled me up nicely, cooked, prepared and served perfectly. Pancakes are delicious and those beans!! Well worth the drive from Ottawa. Maddy, our server was a jewel! Jeff Sarah Ottawa

Been coming for years on the drive home from the cottage. It's a family favourite with HUGE scoops and a massive selection of flavours this is a go to ice cream place. Let the staff pick out my scoops 10/10 would recommend the banana birthday cake combo WOW : Reserva una mesa ahora

Great service. Very friendly but you need to be patient. They only allow 3 on store at a time at this time. So the line up can be a bit long, but the flavours are worth the wait. All 3 of us were extremely happy with our choices.

My 4-year-old granddaughter and I went for a walk and when we arrived at The Daily Scoop, I didn't have to persuade her to have some ice cream! The service was friendly and the ice cream was delicious!

Been going to the daily scoop for years. Recently, I've ordered a couple ice cream cakes and they have been absolutely phenomenal. 10/10 would recommend grabbing a treat if you're in the area!

Great spot for ice cream with many delicious flavors available. The staff are super friendly and very efficient when serving many customers at the same time. We'll worth stopping.

Pass up the Tim Horton's and go here for sandwiches -- made fresh on great breads.
