Superior Fish Chips

The gentleman who runs this place made a bit of a customer service mistake over the weekend. So I've gone well out of my way, detouring to Devon on my way back to Edmonton from Leduc, to visit his establishment at least three times in recent months. As it's not on my way home, I burn more gas than it's worth, but he makes good fish and chips. Anyway, when I went to order a full meal deal (which includes a drink) yesterday, he informed me that I could have coffee or tea, but not a fountain drink as the fountain machine wasn't working. He said that I could have a bottled soft drink as well, but that I'd have to pay extra for it (I believe the charge quoted was $1.50). Now I don't know about yo...

Really like their fries, and the fish was fantastic. It just wasn't the haddock I ordered. Maybe it was because of the plexiglass, or maybe I mumbled, but either way, it is the only reason its not a 5 star. I highly recommend trying the deep fried pickled asparagus, it was tasty. I'm intrigued by the deep fried stuffed olives, even though I don't like olives. They have a nice assortment of fish types to choose from. Haddock, cod (what i ended up with), basa, turbot and haddock. Price points are reasonable. Food is very good, and restaurant reminds me of the best fish n chip shacks from across the maritimes. Will be eating here again, when I'm down the Devon way.

You've got to visit this place when you are in Devon. As for me, Devon is closer than I go to downtown Edmonton since I live in the southwest part of Edmonton. Choices of different fish and typical British side dish to be enjoyed! Great for some people who miss Brits and Scottish too. Sweet curry is a nice dip to be eaten with your chips! Onion rings are great as well! Cute wallpapers to create England ambience in the little town of Devon.

Their fish is amazing. The fries come out oily or double cooked and a small ramekin of slaw is ridiculously priced. Should come with fries and chips for the size. Not extra as there's no consistent taste to it. Heavily priced but overall an ok meal.

Amazing fish and chips !! Crispy and tender with a huge selection of cool British pops. We had 2 pieces of haddock with frys and deep fried scallops all delicious. This is our new go to restaurant!! Ps the service is fast friendly and Genuine
