I stopped here after I was inspired by a friend who showed me one day with a big box of her samosas. Some days, you just don't want to cook and see that we didn't have time to have a sitting meal in a restaurant, I love that I could just go somewhere to order a Thali cellar to take home. While there are seats and many people come to stay for a while to eat, this place is also a busy take-out mart, and lines of people just come to get a box of candy or pick up an order. The friendly staff took my order (all here is vegetarian, and they will let you know what is vegan), and then I just enjoyed watching the ambience and people while waiting for my food. It didn't take long, and I went home with...

We had heard about Surati Farsan and her Chaat (Indian street food), sweets and hearty snacks for months and wanted to visit!! They mainly care about an Indian clientele and everything tasted so authentic. I remember eating street food home in India. TIP: Definitely order online and get from here if you can! Two reasons: One, the place can get CRAZY, busy and fairly deorganized with crowds everywhere, so it can be super hard to find a place to sit down.. and two, if you take chaat, you can adjust the spices to your preferred spice level. The Pani Puri is for DIE!! Super fresh ingredients and the puris were perfectly crispy. Also excellent is the Sev Puri, Bhel Puri and the Dabeli. We also pi...

We have been going to Surati since the start of the Artesia location almost twenty years go. It was a great place for great tasty food, cleanliness, and the environment. However, almost six months now, the place has become almost unusable. I see new staff every time I go there, I am sure the chef also was changed. The food tastes bad, the new kids on the registers don't know what they are doing, the rest rooms are filthy. My wife does not want to go there any more, every time I force her, we get one more bad experience. I tried to talk to the owner, he is never available. We talked to the owner's uncle at one time, he agreed about its declining trend. It hurts to see my favorite place going...

I wish there were 0 stars. rude personal, poor food quality and poorest service. I ordered barfi, they gave me milkcake. When I informed them about what they did, someone told me that I should be invited to the shop if I had a chance and would get refunded. they even noticed my name and my number. when I drove into the load, the person refused to know. said there was no notic. showed him pictures, he refused to help, was rude, he called two more of his team members, they were worse. unapologetic, very rude, I was treated as if I did on remedial. would never recommend this place to everyone. if they can't help, at least not be rude.

Read about it on HappyCow and came by to taste the food. Here is my Surati Farsan Mart review. I was very impressed to go to the store. It is very clean, modern and elegant. The walls are red and black painted and the lighting over the glass boxes are bright yellow. Many different sweets and fried salty snacks are presented in glass cases, and everything looked interesting. I bought almost everything that is without milk products. Vegans should ask.

had very high expectations at this place good ambiente, but the food quality was abysmal came with a large group ordered all common snacks like bhel puri, dahi puri, chole bhature, bombay sliders, pav bhaji and more. nothing had real Indian aromes. eating was very spoiled, including leti. would not visit them again until some serious changes were made

The quality of Surati has declined. We have gone here for many years, and it used to be good, but recently the taste has been off and on the bland side. We sat outside, and there was a homeless man standing in front of us and other customers begging for money, which ruined our experience.

the best place to ever go. I bought a milk cake is super dry worst taste and we call it its not good and they said it's coming back well and bring us back refund or exchange it with a new one, and when I went back there they said we can't do anything.

This is my review as someone who didn't grow with this cuisine. Pricey, but the flavour profile is satisfying. Would be a worth the occasional indulgence! The staff is friendly and are quick with their suggestions when asked.
