W e are regular visitors to the area and really love the coffee here BUT the cafe needs to improve its outdoor furniture -chairs are rusty and dirty vinyl and the whole area could do with a high pressure clean and more seating. We asked for a glass of water and was told that we could buy water but they don't do glasses of water! Really a self service water area would be a plus and if asked for surely should be provided particularly if needed on a 30 plus degree day for a medical problem.I know it gets busy but friendly customer service is always the best policy. That said we really do love the coffee.
We've been here few times with kids, taking away food for beach, fish and chips are fast and fresh, nice taste.. sometimes they forget extras, but give it with no questions after remind... its crowded most of the sunny days so no wonders, Paul is quick and efficient, hard to get his smile but now and then its possible... coffee was superb, a lot of magazines to read while waiting or enjoy your time.
Conveniently located at one end the beach. Nice hot food and pastries. Fish and chips were tasty. Good coffee too. Came on Easter Sunday after hours but they stayed open a little longer to make food and drinks. The place was busy but things went smoothly with a bit of patience. Friendly service. Tables and chairs inside and outside.
Owner (Paul) would have to be the RUDEST man I have ever encountered along the South Coast of NSW. Seriously, if you can't crack a smile, or provide a friendly service, get out of the business of hospitality. Over-priced burgers, coffee was bitter, and the surly attitude stunk. No wonder all the staff leave to work elsewhere.

New owners in 2015 transformed this cafe. This place doesn't look much from the outside but it serves good takeaway in the traditional Aussie manner. Top that off with great coffee which the owner prides himself on. It is busy in season though so the que can be long. Normally open from early morning to mid afternoon.
Only been here twice since the new owner took over and both times have been greeted with a smile; the second time he knew what coffes we wanted without is asking! !Food was very good and the coffees excellent .The mural says it all: "Don't be ShellFish" and "Drop Your Anchor Here", just a couple of the sayings.
Hidden and peaceful. A charming little takeout spot with delicious food. We enjoyed coffee along with a serving of fish and chips, all of which were very delightful.
This is a busy little place. The coffee was very good and made as requested. Several customers were ordering take away food.
