I can here all the time for dinner and snacks as it is just up the road. Always have a great chat with the owner, very friendly nice guy! My favorite menu item are the cheap and delicious onion rings, cannot get enough of them! The chips are great, burgers are well made, don't fall apart on you, and still very tasty! I still have a lot of things to try on the menu, and honestly, I can't wait! =D
Most fish and chips shops are ok. It's not hard to get it right. However the chips they create here are so much better. Yes it's fast food and that should say something but we've never had a bad meal from here and given the first time I ventured into this place was some 7 years ago, it's still going and it's always popular. Friday and Saturday nights are busy so best to pre-order.
We have regularly bought fish and chips from David for over 10 years now, and it is always fantastic! His fish size is generous and the batter is always light and crisp. The chips are always fresh and crisp and he always uses fresh oil. 10 out of 10 always!
