Sushi Matsu Chateauguay

We recently moved in the area and were excited to try this place.We regret ever trying it and wasting 100$ for 2.The service is slow, it took over 25 minutes to have any service at our table. But that's ok, considering they were only 2 servers.The food is sub par quality, every sushi tastes the exact same. The sushis arrive mostly all warm to cool at best. The pad thai was the worst I have had. It basically is noodles mixed in a cheap pad thai mix and thawed shrimp added. Would be surprised if it was fried in a wok or any pan.Pineapple chicken is extremely bland and watered down sauce.The prices are extremely high for what you are getting.This place is taking advantage of being the only all-...

excellent sushi in general, menu with dish to share, very good idea. map of traditional wines. two closed rooms to eat around a coffee table. ultra fast and courteous service. I'm gonna get the **** out of here. We get the bill back on the figure already the tip while the bill a little lower mentions: "the tip is not included"!!When we notice it, the lady tells us that she already told us twice, uh...and all this between two dirty guenilles thrown at the checkout counter. the end spoils the experiment a little. the waiters would have better to finish the customers at the cash register and not leave it to the care of Madame smile!

I honestly wanted to love this place, we enjoyed the food , we decided to try out something new on uber eats , it wasnt the best sushi but it tasted good until 12 hours later we got FOOD POISONING. Its been two days and we are still sick, i am grateful to not have given any to my baby.Will definitely not order again.

beautiful zen decor, good service, concept at will, a variety of small hot served dishes, quickly. good general tao chicken, shrimp and Japanese chicken , sushis, teriyaki... delicious Korean beef, teriyaki beef with garlic and sides not quite tender. The service was amazing. The all you can eat sushi menu was absolutely delicious and fresh!! The specialty Japanese drinks were really good. Great date night, will be back and definitely recommend.

A fancier version of everyone's favourites in a made to order all you can eat. With tax and tip it was about 50$ which is still a good deal if you are eating sushi as well as the hot meals.

The all-you-can-eat option is overpriced, especially for Chateauguay. Not worth the money. I would not return. The only positive aspect was the friendly servers.
