Only started going here about a month ago because Sushi Edo upped their price! (Every cent counts). My partner and I found this place by accident when we were on our way to eat at a different sushi train across the road near Aldi. We figured why not and gave this place a shot, honestly do not regret it and now it’s our sushi Sunday spot because plates are $3 on Sunday! By the way, they have “Happy Hour” from 8:30 clock (kitchen stops) until when they close at 9:00 clock takeaway sushi only for $2/plate. Normally, all plates are $3,50, which is not too bad. Oh, there's a 3% cash discount. (feeling like a circular art and wise to say a 3% card transaction fee)The service is quite attentive to the Korean speaking waiting staff. ren sushi 030619 during our vegetarian day we choose malatang or sushi for our dinner. this time we chose the ren sushi underwood because it is a nearby house-eating. not to eat here first time, but this is the first time to have pure vegetarian dishes. now, selections are not so much and we ordered soulweed flagship, tamago nigiri and two of the udons. honestly, the taste is just perfect and the portions are average. nothing is surprising! rating 3.5/5 previous visit: feb 2019, 3.5/5; juli 2015, 3.5/5
extremely disgusted with the attitude of the receptionist and believe that having a $15 minimum to use your credit card is ABSOLUTELY REVOLTING. Can most surely say i will never be going back, and will not recommend it to any of my friends However the sushi being $2 after 8pm is a good extra (Unfortunately paid full price at 8:30pm so idk about that anymore)
