Better than I remember. Use to live in Eastern Suburbs and this use to be our favourite. Delighted to see it was open last night (Good Friday) as we'd spend the day at the beach. Pizza base still delighted us, the meat was tender and tasty, the herbs seemed fresh and the whole taste experience didn't let us down again. We ate on the rustic bench in the shop and noticed the gelatos which we hadn't seen before. Shared a salted caramel one which was gorgeous. Service as efficient as ever and we left thinking that we miss having Svens in the inner west and that's a big statement to make from little italy!
loved and impressively great. I ordered the ragnarok (without cheese) and could not wait to dig after the smell of the delicacies in the box. Unfortunately this resturant failed to live up to expectations a second time in as many months. Pizzas were presented poorly with sauce all over the box and lacked taste. Dispite being the closest Pizza shop to home I can no longer give the benifit of doubt re both service and delivery as my friends also have echoed this experience with little satifaction when trying to address it with staff at the shop.
DO NOT DO IT!!! I ordered a pizza and told it would take an hour. Called an hour and 15 minutes later only to be told it was always going to take one hour 45 but it would be a couple of minutes. When questioned had it even left she said no actually, expect 15 minutes. It's now 2 hours and 15 minutes later and I still have NO PIZZA... Disgusted

people who have lived in Swedish assure me that Swedish pizza can really have crazy toppings. the most crazy I could find at sven was the kebab pizza with a unique sauce. it was really great for amazing thin crust (such as flammekueche) and the sauce was really delicious, and the standard highest pizza was also great.
Disgusting pizza from the Coogee store. Have been up sick all night throwing up....had the chicken and chorizo pizza. Don't go near it unless you want a serious case of food poisoning.
Much better pizza elsewhere in Coogee and Randwick.
Oh and the staff are incredibly rude.
svens at coogee used to be one of my occasional favorites. today's pizza was tasteless and the basic was absolutely terrible. the load mentions that they have recently changed the supplier. it is a scandal because the pizzas are used, the pointed notch no longer.
Got the Hela pizza which was super tasty and the garlic cheese side pizza. Best ‘side pizza’ ever had. Usually they are a bit dry with some butter and garlic but this was fantastic with loads of cheese and garlic. I’ll be back next week!!
