Sweet Bottoms Coffee

I met up with a friend for morning coffee at a restaurant. I was pleasantly surprised to see a rainbow sticker in the window, as Fenelon Falls isn't known for being LGBTQ+ friendly. In my 22 years living in the area, it was the first time I had seen such a sticker on any business. I can't emphasize enough how important that kind of representation is. Unfortunately, there are still accessibility issues at the restaurant, including the awkward positioning and height of the coffee station.

I have been buying my coffee to go for a few years at Sweetbottoms. It truly is good coffee. Wayne and Diane and their staff are always so friendly. Diane bakes wonderful treats including some gluten free items. They have soups and sandwiches. These people support local farmers and businesses and are very involved in their community. Go in for a coffee and find out what is going on in Fenelon Falls.

Some negative reviews criticize the slow service and dull atmosphere, but I found the service to be pretty quick considering there was only one employee working on a busy Sunday. I also appreciated the lack of typical coffee shop music or radio playing, making it a great spot for writing or reading. I did notice a piano in the back and thought it would be lovely to hear someone play it.

Have been going here for many years, always good coffee and pleasant service.If I could improve on one thing it would be their website. I would love to try some of their adventurous (for me) coffee creations. But don't really understand what the different choices are? If I could read up on their website about the different variations I would likely try some of their other offerings. Reserva una mesa ahora

The coffee is great, although it took a bit for the barista to acknowledge us. Other than the wait, it's a nice place. You have the opportunity to customize your coffee after receiving it (add milk, sugar, etc.) which I appreciate. I wish they had half and half instead of just milk/cream. I will definitely visit again next time I'm in Fenelon.

Extremely disappointed to have stopped on the way to the cottage on the long weekend to find the shop closed at 6:45pm rather than their posted 9:00pm. However, always great lattes and very friendly service! Definitely worth a stop in!

Had wonderful bagel egg breakfast. Free wifi and Toronto newspapers. Opens at 630am Noted for many types of coffee. Have open mike where local musicians come to play in evening. Serves breakfast, lunch

An eclectic cafe, art gallery vintage bicycle workshop. Late Sunday afternoon I got excellent espresso and good service. I didn't have time to try the treats but I look forward to returning. Reserva una mesa ahora

Just a maple latte, pumpkin bread, and a date square, all delicious! Friendly, efficient barista, warm, friendly atmosphere, good place to enjoy some relaxation.
