Sweet Lou's Glenelg

I cannot recommend this restaurant for several reasons. To start with, the service was disappointing. I have had better service at McDonald's. The flavors of Mexican food are usually delicious, but the food at this place had no taste at all. Additionally, the prices were extremely high for what we received. The quality of the dishes did not match the price. It seems like just another tourist trap that is ready to be shut down. I seldom feel let down when dining out, but the staff at this restaurant managed to do so with their lackluster performance.

Disappointed. Got some beach burrito tonight with some high expectations. It’s our absolute favourite place to eat in Fitzroy (just closed down) so we were looking forward to having it here. The standard at this store was not of the Melbourne one. The burritos we had hardly had any filling and I found a long hair in my burrito. Expected more from a place with such a good reputation.

Friendly staff on arrival. I ordered salad. It was fresh and exactly what was ordered. My husband was most disappointed in his Californian Burrito which was full of fries and little else. When asked about how our meals were when paying the bill, staff mocked our comments. Not nice.

Beach Burrito, was light and refreshing perfect medicine for after a long day at the beach. The spicy fries with the jalapeño aioli dip was a highlight, and although the tacos lacked a flavour punch, they were still okay but would be much better on a Tuesday for Reserva una mesa ahora

They offer happy hour specials and great food deals. The Baja fish burrito was delicious with a hint of burnt orange sauce, and the appetizers were crispy and fresh. Overall, it's a great choice for tasty Mexican cuisine.

It was ok! Good spot for a group or with kids, I think the tacos might be the way to go. I had the karate chicken burrito which was fine though I did load it up with hot sauce from the table.

Wanted to try this place for a while! Ordered the spring chicken burrito bowl, it came out pretty quick.. it was tasty, I think next time I’d try the tacos because they seemed to be popular!

I must love taco on Tuesday on the beach burrito. happy hour frozen margaritas and tacos. I love the fish tacos, reminds me of hawaii. the personal must be a bit friendly and welcoming. Reserva una mesa ahora

came here for lunch one day. mexican is one of my favourite cuisines but this place was quite average. got the pulled pork burger and would not recommend

This Mexican restaurant was fantastic. The tacos on Tuesday were delicious. We also enjoyed the great margaritas. I highly recommend this place!
