I enjoyed food from Sweet taste of italy food truck at a concert in the park in Excelsior commons May 31. It was phenomenal! Both the tasty sandwiches I ordered were loaded with awesome ingredients, one had marinara sauce with it and those Fries so good....are they even legal in MN,? OMG that seasoning!!!? 5 people sampled my food and were blown away. I have never had such good bread, it is a bit sweet and super soft, their sauce is out of this world and even though there were more than 10 food trucks at that event I only wanted this italian food. My favorite restaurant! I almost always order their Turkey Torpedo sandwich. It's a delicious blend of cheese, turkey, lettuce, and spicy mustard on their perfect slightly sweet and super soft bread. You must get their garlic bread. I often get garlic bread and then another one (unbaked) to take home and bake later. Finally I got smarter and ordered a few to freeze and any time I want garlic bread they're easy to take out and bake! I like their pasta as well but I can't not get my favorite sandwich. Such a great deal and so good I often go out of my way to visit if I'm passing through Brooklyn Park vicinity.
I miss the store in Crystal! This is a little out of my way but worth the drive. We got one of the meal deals with cheese ravioli. I usually get the spagetti. It was very hearty. We barely ate half of it between the 3 of us adults. I also forgot to order the meatless marinara for my daughter but I love their meaty sauce. We did take out so I didn't grade the atmosphere. At 4;30 it was pretty empty. I did drop a star because it wasn't quite ready when I got there which was later than they said. But it caused me to grab a tiramisu while I waited. Yum! Was totally worth it.
My partner and I have been going to Sweet Taste since they were in Crystal, and every single time we've been here it's an amazing experience. We haven't been here for months just due to life, and they recognized us immediately. It just speaks so much to their incredible service. The food is always divine, priced very well, and portioned perfectly. We've always loved Sweet Taste and will continue to in the future. Much love!!

I've been ordering from here since I was young. We ordered from the Crystal MN store before it closed. Luckily, this location was still around. The haven't changed much if at all. But if it ain't broke, don't fix it. The family meals are great value and tasty. That's usually what I get. Buy the staff is friendly and they're prompt. Highly recommend.
Ordered delivery for the first time--won't be the last! The veggie pizza (with sausage) was absolutely loaded with ingredients. Something is a little bit spicey for this Minnesotan, but still excellent. And the thin crust is about the best I have had. Also had a side salad and the homemade Caesar dressing was very good.
Stopped by for the first time in a while. It had been remodeled since the last time we were there... very cozy. Service was awesome and I loved the Italian Supreme sandwich, though they skimped on the fries. My daughter and son in law had pizza and liked it.
