Prison has better service than this place. 3 out of the 4 staff here looks like they would much rather be anywhere else but here. Food and dessert are average and comparable to other places but the service is less than ideal. Our server brought out the food for our party of 8 and wasnt willing to help us determine which bowl was what dessert. She asked us to take a look at it and do it ourselves. Each dessert bowl looked very similar and hard to remember what was what since she collected the menu already. When one of us asked to use the restroom, they blocked it off saying that they are closing soon although there are many other customers remaining. Not sure what we have done to deserve such...
I imagine I would get better service from a maximum security prison. The server put down all the desserts without telling us what they are and seemed like we greatly inconvenienced her by asking her help to determine what each dessert is. She merely responded by asking us to look at the dessert to know what it is. Frankly I am baffled where the hostility came from. Maybe she is having a bad day but the rest of the staff also seem to be unfriendly. I would not recommend this place to my worst enemy.
The mango pancake was light and delicious! We also tried the sesame and red bean dessert, and while the red bean was a bit more watery than I would have liked, the flavor was subtle, lightly sweet, and enjoyable. I believe this place is more renowned for its Japanese soufflé pancakes, which I will definitely try on my next visit. If those are as amazing as I've heard, I might just bump my rating up to five stars! It's a fantastic spot for popular Hong Kong and Chinese desserts!
Tried this spot out for the first time. I was looking for a nearby milk tea shop within walking distance of Lunasia.The worker that I interacted with was really nice and sweet, and I took advantage of the BOGO/Happy Hour deal that they had and got two, gigantic Thai iced teas for like $6, which is a steal.The Thai iced tea tasted great to me. And I wouldn't hesitate to check it out again for Happy Hour.

I ordered a taro coconut milk drink, and the small size cost over $7. When I inquired about the discrepancy between the price on the menu I received and what I was charged, she informed me that it was an old menu price. Honestly, if that's the case, you shouldn't be distributing those menus! This experience was definitely not worth it.
We also tried the papaya grass jelly, which tasted strange as well. It seemed like they simply opened a can of grass jelly and added two bland pieces of papaya with a bit of syrup on top. Overall, I had a terrible experience with both the food and the manager. I will never return!
Used to like the place but unfortunately recently the quality dropped below average. 楊枝甘露 for example mango is too sour and too hard, and tapioca was overly cooked. The service was slow too. Hope in the future will improve
Takoyaki was nice and crispy and the tofu deserts were delicious! Prices were fair.Overall, I was quite satisfied with this spot and their menu is sizable; confident there will be something for everyones palette
