This place rocks and the clam chowda is very succulent. If you are in town, stop by and be ready to have a party in your mouth. Not sure if it is every Sunday but they have 1 lbs of crab $39.99 which is very reasonable and cooked to order and perfectly. This place is so good, that I had to go a second time. I had the halibut and the shrimp as well and they are all very tasty. The staff is very nice and they keep the place clean. The restaurant is a bit small but they have outside seating provided that it is not raining. Add this to your destination list and make sure that you arrive hangry!

Went here with my family over the summer after our 26 glacier cruise, it was AMAZING. Best seafood we had during our entire trip to Alaska. Awesome patio seating outside with incredible views. Service was great, they were very friendly and we got our food in a relatively short time. They had awesome merch for sale and I bought a sweatshirt for the memories! Will certainly go back when I am in Alaska next.

We loved our lunch at Swiftwater yesterday. We ordered the crab cakes and two half and half fry baskets (half shrimp and half halibut). The shrimp was the best part and we both wished we had ordered more of it! The fries were very similar to McDonald's, which is high praise in my opinion. The perfect mix of soft, crunchy and salty. The Patio overlooking the harbor was the best spot in Whittier!

One of the best Halibut and chips. Please try if you explore this area. Quite busy at lunch time. No problem if you are not in a hurry, because you can enjoy the beautiful scenery behind the restaurant area. Recommended for all families. Thank you for beautiful lady who served all the customers with lovely smile. Will come back again.

Fish and Chips were fresh and some of the best we had while visiting many restaurants in Alaska. The Clam Chowder was delicious. We tried to get lunch the very next day and they were packed with a line out the door. We couldn't wait...bummer! This place is a gem and the service was top notch! Great local beer selection as well!

Incredible spot, views could not be better, feels like I could have watched the boats go by for days. Halibut is light, flaky, juicy, tender, moist, everything you could want. Shrimp were also a delight! Staff is incredibly friendly and the defore fits the scene. A must stop when in Whittier.

My boyfriend and I got the half and half (fish and chips with shrimp and halibut). The fries were seriously so good! The fish was lightly breaded so you are definitely get good chunks of meat and they were tasty as well. The staff was very nice and enjoyed the atmosphere of this cute place.

Great workers. But overpriced fish from Costcos. Fries were cold and really hard. 6 of us paid almost $250.
