Swiss Chalet Rotisserie & Grill

Live in the local area, been here a number of times. Swiss Chalet should have consistency on it's side, they do chicken and variations thereof. Doesn't seem like that should be that difficult. First, they religiously crowd all the patrons into one section, despite how empty the rest of the restaurant is. Now the server is overwhelmed, so an unbusy restaurant is now busy. The service is now slow, the servers are now borderline grumpy because they are overwhelmed. And it's downhill from there. The food is slow in coming out and typically not that hot, the refills are never offered, always have to be asked for and are given begrudgingly. Most Swiss Chalets are fine. my wife and are visiting chatham and staying close to the restaurant, after having some great experiences with this chain, this one falls flat, service is extremely poor, servers cannot mange tables, we were seated for lunch, and after 15 minutes of not seeing our server we left, spoke to manager about the service, the young manager dismissed our concerns about the service and turned his back on us to return to the kitchen. our meal a few nites ago had cold chips and a spinach salad that was mostly not edible. this franchise location appears to be living off the chains overall reputation and not what it offers to its patrons, no staff and no supervison or quality control

Last winter when we ate here it was good. This summer we ordered the CAA special (2 dinners for $14.99) and were shocked at how small the serving was. Generally, the food is good here, just the quantity appears to vary from visit to visit. Good menu selection. Now for the general comments. There's currently a BIG mosquito problem in the restaurant. The outer electronic door entrance for the disabled hasn't functioned properly in a very long time. Some sensitivity training would go a long way.

Stopped for dinner here' in January. Well never been to such an unorganized restaurant ever. The place was busy but people were leaving their tables because they were waiting to long for food. Staff were very apologetic. We stayed but it took 50 minutes to get 3 chicken dinners. Maybe my only visit was at the wrong time, but first impressions stick. Reserva una mesa ahora

Not a good experience, when best item on Menu is the Baked Potato then you are in the wrong place. Ordered the double leg and received two very small legs and not done to what should be Swiss Chalet requirement . Burnt, dry and somewhat unappetizing. Feel that they have changed their sauce as well, in old days the sauce could save the chicken.

We had a hot beef sandwich and for the app we added the garlic shrimp and the chicken spring rolls we shared all this and were stuffed.The service was very slow not enough servers working very busy.But the food was very good and hot.

It's honestly a hit and miss when it comes to delivery. Sometimes the orders wrong where I'd order poutine with swiss Charlet sauce and they'd give me gravy. No butter for the bun sometimes. But it's still my favourite place to order

- just visit the restaurant, and you will quickly get a goof free order. I seldom eat in restaurant these days, but find the take out service excellent. Five minutes, and you're out the door with exactly what you ordered. Reserva una mesa ahora

The service and management of this location has always been bad, but it just keeps getting worse. 2 waitresses that quit caring 10 years ago. They make you not want to come back. So so food as well.

Fast food with waiter service. Chicken is always good with fries and poutine. Always good and reliable.
