This place has gone down hill! The food was good but atmosphere was very uncomfortable due to the fact that the manager was miserable and the staff was stressed. Memorial Day weekend is busy for every restaurant so I don’t think that’s a goodenough excuse to be off putting. It makes customers feel uncomfortable and unwanted when everyone looks upset and overwhelmed. Irealize that every restaurant is understaffed right now, but not every restaurant is uncomfortable to eat at. I recently enjoyed one of the best meals I've had in a long time. The house-made mozzarella was outstanding and paired beautifully with the pizza sauce. The sauce for the Parmesan gnocchi was perfectly balanced, offering just the right acidity to enhance the richness of the Parmesan and the earthiness of the mushrooms. My Bolognese was excellent—the pasta was cooked flawlessly, and the sauce had a wonderful level of spice. They have an extensive beer selection, mainly featuring local options from Connecticut and New York, including three from Kent Falls, which I have no complaints about. My husband and I came to eat here for his birthday. Appreciate the fact that this place sources their ingredients locally. Drove over an hour to eat here. Ordered the $45 chicken to see red liquid on the plate and cutting into a piece we see that’s itraw. All they do is recook the pieces of chicken and throw out the raw piece we cut into. So I missed out on a piece of chickenand receive no real apology as our fries got cold waiting for the chicken. I don’t expect them to comp my dish but thiscompletely ruined our experience and at minimum give new fries or something as we waited. I would not come back here

I hesitate to write this because it might make it harder for me to get a reservation next time—game theory at play. The service was flawless. The cocktails were outstanding and inventive. The food was truly inspired. That’s all I’ll reveal—the rest is for you to discover. Seriously, don’t book or go, because I want to avoid competition when I return soon. The food is just that good.
Had a wonderful and amazing time here. The food was amazing, and so was the specialty drinks I had. The staff was friendly and the manager greeted all of her guests with a smile. I will be coming here again, and I'm going to tell my friends all about thiscute place.
Lovely experience fabulous staff, manager was gracious. Given our experiences where restaurants seem short on staff, the team was excellent can’t say the same with other restaurants we have visited this week. Will definitely return. Don’t pass it up.
This is the second time I was there and I have to say food and cocktails are creatively prepared. The wait staff is also very friendly and accommodating. I just wish they got their food out on time when there's a party of more than one person : .
